§ MR. S. BUXTONThe question of the importation of Indian natives into the Australian Colonies is one for the Colonial Governments to deal with. As far as the Secretary of State is aware no definite conclusion has been come to on the subject, but South Australia has passed two Acts to enable such importation into its Northern territory, and a brief reference to the subject will be found in Parliamentary Paper, C. 6490.
