HC Deb 24 February 1893 vol 9 c334
SIR J. FERGUSSON (Manchester, N. E.)

We were informed that the Scotch Suspensory Bill would not be taken next week; but it has been placed on the Paper for Monday next. Is any change contemplated in the arrangements?

MR. W. E. GLADSTONE

I am not conscious of having stated that the Bill would not be taken next week. I think what I said was that we were not prepared to name a day for it. There is no intention of taking it on Monday. Ample notice will be given before it is taken.
