I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received any further information from Canada concerning the kidnapping of the crew of the Belfast steamship Bawnmore, in the harbour of Nanaimo, British Columbia?

The following telegram, dated the 18th instant, has been received from the Governor General of Canada:— Referring to your telegram of 11th February, Bawnmore kidnapping case, five persons now on trial at Nanaimo at Special Assizes, Attorney General British Columbia prosecuting. Full information will be sent at conclusion of trial.
