COLONEL MURRAYI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War how many Civil posts under Government became vacant during 1892, which might, in the terms of the Report of the Committee of 1876–7 on this subject, be suitably filled by discharged soldiers; and how many of these posts were so filled?
