HC Deb 20 February 1893 vol 8 c1851
MR. KENNEDY (Kildare, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that originating notices, for the fixing of fair rents, served by tenants in the Celbridge Union, County Kildare, from two to three years ago, have not yet been heard by the Land Commission; and, if so, whether he will direct the Irish Land Commissioners to send down a Sub-Commission to hear them without delay?

*THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. J. MORLEY,) Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The Land Commissioners report that at the present date four applications to fix fair rents, or holdings, in the Celbridge Union remain to be disposed of, and they appear in a list of cases for hearing on the 8th of next month.
