HC Deb 20 February 1893 vol 8 c1868
MR. A. O'CONNOR

I beg to ask the Attorney General if he will inquire into the state of business in the Metropolitan County Courts, and bring under the notice of the Lord Chancellor, with a view to remedy, the inconvenience, delay, and heavy expenses to which parties are now subjected by reason of "adjournments for want of time" and repeated attendance of witnesses before cases are actually heard?

SIR CHARLES RUSSELL

The obtaining of this information will involve considerable inquiry, and I must ask the hon. Member to put his question down for a later day.
