§ MR. T. M. HEALY (Louth, N.)moved to report Progress. He had no objection to the Bill; but when measures which were equally unobjectionable were moved from those Benches distinguished gentlemen of the Opposition—generally a Lord or a right hon.—got up and "objected." He believed this was an admirable Bill, perfect in all its parts, and it was with the greatest reluctance that he offered opposition to it.
§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Chairman do report Progress, and ask leave to sit again.—(Mr. T. M. Healy.)
§ SIR F. POWELL (Wigan)hoped they would be allowed to go on with the Bill which had received support from all parts of the House.
§ MR. T. M. HEALYIf the Tory Members who "object" to my Bill—New Licences (Ireland) Bill—will give me an assurance that they will not obstruct that measure, I will withdraw my opposition to the present Bill.
