HC Deb 15 February 1893 vol 8 c1537

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."—(Mr. E. Spencer.)

*SIR CHARLES W. DILKE (Gloucester, Forest of Dean)

I do not think a Bill like this ought to be taken at the present time. It is one of those sham remedies to which many of us object very much in the interests of labour.

It being now half-past Five of the clock, the Debate stood adjourned.

Debate to he resumed To-morrow.
