HC Deb 14 February 1893 vol 8 c1374
MR. PARKER SMITH (Lanark, Partick)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether, in view of the forthcoming retirement of the Surveyor General for Scotland, it is proposed to make any administrative changes in the Scottish Post Office; and, if so, whether he can say what these changes are?

MR. A. MORLEY

It is not intended to make any administrative changes in the Post Office in Scotland; but on the retirement of the present Surveyor General it is intended to abolish that title and to revert to that of Secretary.
