HC Deb 14 February 1893 vol 8 c1370
MR. BOSCAWEN (Kent, Tonbridge)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the new scale of rates charged by the South Eastern Railway Company, which has caused very serious damage to agriculture and trade generally in the neighbourhood of Tonbridge; and whether he has made any representation to the South Eastern Company on the subject; if not, whether he will do so as soon as possible?

MR. MUNDELLA

Yes, Sir; my attention has been called to the matter referred to, and I am in communication through the Railway Association with the Company on the subject.
