§ MR. ASQUITHUnder the Police Act the Police Authority is required to deduct from the pay of every constable in the Force sums at a rate not exceeding 2½ per cent. per annum on his pay, which deductions under the Act are paid to the credit of the Pension Fund. A balance sheet of the Pension Fund for the year ended March 31, 1892, was laid before Parliament on the 2nd of May last.
