HC Deb 14 February 1893 vol 8 c1362
MR. KEARLEY (Devonport)

I beg to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty whether he is aware that the chief petty officers of the Royal Navy are at present the only rank or rating in the Service in which the increased responsibility of their position, although remunerated by additional pay, secure them no additions to their pensions; and whether the Board of Admiralty have decided to rectify this anomaly?

MR. EDMUND ROBERTSON

This question was considered by the late Board of Admiralty, and is receiving careful consideration from the present Board.
