HC Deb 10 February 1893 vol 8 c1042
MR. THOMAS B. CURRAN (Kilkenny)

I beg to ask the Chancellor the Exchequer if he has recently received complaints as to the present system of hearing appeals from assessments made by District Commissioners of Income Tax; and if he proposes to make any change in the law on the matter?

SIR W. HARCOURT

I have received from time to time complaints upon this subject, but they have not appeared to me to be of such a character as to require or justify a change in the law.
