COLONEL HUGHES

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether men are employed as cadets' servants at the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, receiving there for 14s. a week; whether these men live outside the. Academy and are pensioners; whether other men, who are not pensioners, are paid £1 1s. per week for the same work; how many days and hours these men work; and why this difference is uncle between the wages of pensioners and non-pensioners?

*MR. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

The subject to which the hon. Gentleman calls attention is being inquired into, and I shall he glad if he will postpone his question to a later date.
