HC Deb 09 February 1893 vol 8 c908
MR. MAGUIRE (Clare, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been called to resolutions passed at a meeting, at Kilbaha, County Clare, calling upon the Government to undertake reproductive public works in the district to meet the distress caused by the low price of cattle and produce, and pointing out the necessity of building a pier at Kilbaha Harbour, and whether he is prepared to consider the question?

*MR. J. MORLEY

The resolution referred to in the question has been received, bat the application it embodied could not be entertained, inasmuch' as there are no funds at the disposal of the Government to carry out the work.
