HUGHES (Woolwich)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether, in view of the Private Bill introduced by the London County Council to levy an additional rate of 4d. on the gross value Of property in the County of London, he will cause a gross value to be placed upon Government property in London, so that the contribution of the Government in lieu of such rate may be estimated, as is BOW done with respect to other rates, on the net value of such Government property?
