HC Deb 06 February 1893 vol 8 c541
MAJOR RASCH (Essex, S. E.)

I beg to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty whether he is aware that mud, old iron, and rubbish are being daily discharged oil to the Essex fishing grounds front Admiralty lighters off Sheerness, and whether he can state when this nuisance will be abated?

*MR. EDMUND ROBERTSON

As the hon. Member lots already been informed, steps have been taken to investigate the grievance of which he complains. A Report has just been received from Commander Tizard and Mr. Fryer, of the Board of Trade, who have held the investigation, and this Report will receive the early consideration of the Admiralty.
