HC Deb 02 February 1893 vol 8 c245
MR. HOZIER (Lanarkshire, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether the Government propose to pass a Suspensory Bill for the Church of Scotland without any further reference to the wishes of the people of Scotland?

SIR G. TREVELYAN

On the question of the Church of Scotland, as on all other matters which concern Scotland, the Government expect to ascertain the wishes of the Scottish people from the representatives of Scotland in Parliament.
