HC Deb 28 December 1893 vol 20 c327
MR. P. J. O'BRIEN (Tipperary, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he can now state whether the Local Government Board have considered the Report from the Borrisokane Board of Guardians Engineer, and if they are prepared to assist the Guardians with regard to their proposed scheme for labourers' cottages?

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. J. MORLEY,) Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The Report in question, which was only received by the Local Government Board on the 20th instant, has been referred to the Board's Inspector for the district. The matter must necessarily take some little time before a decision can be arrived at, but I am assured it will be disposed of at the earliest possible date.
