§ MR. A. C. MORTONI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether the issue of Mr. Drage's Report on the Labour Question in France has been authorised; and, if so, whether such Report should be issued without having been previously considered by the Royal Commission on Labour?
§ MR. ASQUITHThe Government have no responsibility in matters of this kind. It rests entirely with the Royal Commission. I have sent a copy of the question to the Duke of Devonshire, who as Chairman of the Commission will, no doubt, be able and willing to answer.
