HC Deb 12 December 1893 vol 19 cc1169-70
MR. BILL (Staffordshire, Leek)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture whether he will grant a Return of the number of allotments under one acre detached from cottages, in continuation of the Return obtained for the Board of Agriculture, and dated July 18, 1890?

THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. H. GARDNER,) Essex, Saffron Walden

The preparation of a new Return of Allotments would involve very considerable labour and expense, and I scarcely think that a sufficient interval has as yet elapsed to justify its issue. I shall, however, be glad to consider the suggestion of the hon. Member, and to confer with my hon. Friend the Secretary to the Treasury on the subject.
