I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is in a position to announce what steps will be taken for the relief of the distress at Passage West?

The Chief Secretary is in communication with the Admiralty regarding this matter, but at the present moment he is not in a position to make any further announcement.
