MR. SEXTON

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, having regard to cases of interference by members of the Irish Constabulary Force with the public collections of funds to provide evicted tenants with the necessaries of life, the Constabulary will be instructed that they are not entitled to hinder or in any way interfere with such collections?

MR. BRYCE (for Mr. J. MORLEY)

The Constabulary have been instructed that they are not to interfere, either directly or indirectly, with the collections to which the hon. Gentleman refers.
