§ MR. CHAPLIN (Lincolnshire, Sleaford)I beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is now able to say when the Report of the Committee on Indian Currency may be expected?
§ THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER (Sir W. HARCOURT,) DerbyThis is a question of which I have no knowledge personally. The question should be addressed to the Under Secretary for India, who will give the right hon. Gentleman all the information available. I understand that there has been no delay in the presentation of the Report; it has not yet been drawn up.
§ MR. CHAPLINThen I will put the question to the Under Secretary on Monday, and ask the reason of the unusual delay in the production of this Report.
