§ MR. ASQUITHI was careful in supporting the Motion of my right hon. Friend to intimate that I was not in a position to pledge the Government to take action in the matter. I feel certain that my Colleagues will attach great and due weight to the unanimous Resolution of this House; but in the present Session, at any rate, we cannot add to the engagements which we have already undertaken.
