KNATCHBULL-HUGESSEN (Kent, Faversham)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he has received resolutions passed by the Local Board of Health, Sheerness, Kent, complaining of the great injury caused to the trade of Sheerness owing to the recent excessive increase of railway rates; and if he will do all in his power to find a remedy?
§ MR. MUNDELLAThe Board of Trade cannot trace the resolutions referred to. I am assured they have not been received direct from the Local Board of Health. If a copy is forwarded to me I will have the matter inquired into.
