§ CAPTAIN DONELAN (Cork, E.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is aware that some men working at the Haulbowline Victualling Stores only receive 12s. and 13s. a week; and if he would consider the justice of equalising their pay with that of the men who are similarly employed in England, or of at least granting them the rate of wages paid to the dockyard labourers at Haulbowline?
§ MR. E. ROBERTSONThere is only one labourer in the Victualling Yard at Haulbowline in receipt of the rate of pay mentioned, and he gets a Government cottage, free of rent, in addition to his wages.
