§ MR. ASQUITHThe materials for the Return have not as yet been furnished by all the Local Authorities, although reminders have been sent out from the Home Office. The materials, when complete, will require careful examination before being presented; and although I have directed that all possible despatch should be used, I am afraid that there is no possibility of the Return being laid on the Table before May 5, or for some time afterwards.
