It is reported, amongst the higher Malagasy officials, that the Hova Government intend to abrogate the Anglo-Malagasy Treaty, if Britain allows France to exercise jurisdiction over British subjects, that the interest on French loans is unpaid";and if he will lay Papers on the subject before the House?
MR. J. W. LOWTHERNo information has been received at the Foreign Office corroborating either of the Reports referred to, and consequently there are no Papers which can be presented.
