§ MR. SEXTON (Belfast, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury when he will produce the Papers, promised about three months since, relating to the Irish Teachers' Pension Fund?
§ SIR HERBERT MAXWELL (who replied)I am informed that the Report of the Committee of Actuaries cannot be ready for some time; and until that Report is received, I am afraid I cannot lay the Papers on the Table.
§ MR. SEXTONI would remind the hon. Gentleman that we asked for these Papers in the last financial year, and we were then told they could not be produced till the 31st March. May I ask if they will be laid on the Table before the Session ends?
§ SIR H. MAXWELLI am afraid I cannot give the information required.
§ MR. SEXTONMay I ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will be so good as to help forward these Papers?
§ MR. A. J. BALFOURI have some recollection of this matter, and I know the interest the hon. Member takes in it, but I understand from the officials 379 that until the Actuaries' Report is ready, the Papers cannot be produced. I am afraid I cannot give any definite information on that point.
