Stock similar to the Privilege Stock, thus effecting a saving of £75,000 per annum, and completing the financial programme of Egypt?
MR. J. W. LOWTHERThe Egyptian Government has most able financial advisers of its own, who have successfully carried out a very large scheme for the conversion of the Unified Debt. This was done of their own initiation and unaided by Her Majesty's Government. 1892 Under these circumstances, Her Majesty's Government do not consider their intervention to be called for.
