§ *MR. JACKSONThis is a question which should be addressed to the War Office rather than to the Irish Government. The promise made to the hon. Member when the Dublin Barracks Bill was before the House was made by the War Office. The Irish Government do not see any connection between the expenditure on Mountjoy Prison and Richmond Prison. The expenditure on the one was not in consequence of the removal from the other. But the War Office will give the hon. Member the information he desires.
§ MR. TIMOTHY HEALYSurely I am entitled to ask for the information which I should have thought the right hon. Gentleman would have been better able to supply than the War Office. But I do not care whence it comes.
