Patrick Greville Nugent, who was tried at the Sessions House, Clerkenwell, on Thursday, 12th May, for assaulting a young lady in a railway carriage, and was sentenced by Sir Peter Edlin to six months' imprisonment with hard labour, in view of the fact that Mr. Nugent is a J.P. and D.L. for the County Westmeath?
