TANNERI beg to ask the First Lord of the Admiralty whether any, and, if so, what, steps have been taken to carry out the promise given by the First Lord that medical officers in the Navy will be given the opportunities recommended by a Commission and Committee of this House—namely, to be given permission to attend, while on full pay, the medical schools in Great Britain, after certain periods afloat?
