HC Deb 31 March 1892 vol 3 c349
MR. SEYMOUR KEAY (Elgin and Nairn)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India have complied with the suggestion made to the Government of India by the Secretary of State, as intimated to the House on 28th November, 1890, that a table of the average yield of the principal crops in the various districts should be prepared; and whether, if received, he will lay the same upon the Table of the House?

* THE UNDER SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (Mr. CURZON,) Lancashire, Southport

These statistics have not been received yet. The Government of India hope to dispatch them by the end of July. When they arrive, the Secretary of State will consider the propriety of laying them on the Table.
