HC Deb 29 March 1892 vol 3 cc164-5
MR. WALLACE (Edinburgh, E.)

I would ask the right hon. Gentleman the First Lord of the Treasury when he proposes to take the Second Reading of the Scotch Equivalent Grant Bill?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

On Thursday.

MR. WALLACE

Is the right hon. Gentleman certain that the Second Reading of that Bill will be taken on that day?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

As certain as anything can be in this House.

MR. WALLACE

I would ask the First Lord of the Treasury if he knows in what order he proposes to take the Second Reading of the Scotch Equivalent Grant Bill on Thursday?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

I have already stated four times that we intend to put it down as the First Order of the Day.
