§ MR. GOSCHENI am in negotiation with the Bank of England respecting a revision of the existing agreement which exists between the State and the Bank. In the introduction of a Bill relating to the Bank of England I shall take the opportunity of making a full statement with reference to my views and intentions in respect of the matters to which the question of the eight hon. Gentleman alludes.
