KEAY (Elgin and Nairn)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the Government can furnish any information as to the safety of a party consisting of 100 young men who sailed from Durban to Madagascar on 23rd July last, with the object of prospecting for nugget gold on a large concession called the Talbot Dawson; and if the Government have no information, will they endeavour to procure such through the British Consulate in Madagascar or otherwise?
