LEWIS (Anglesey)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether Mr. Murray Browne, Local Government Inspector for North Wales, is about to be promoted to another district; and whether he can see his way to appoint as his successor a gentleman who is conversant with the Welsh language?
§ MR. RITCHIEMr. Murray Browne is about to be removed to another district. Arrangements are in contemplation which, if carried out, will render a new appointment unnecessary.
