KNOXI beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what course he proposes to pursue with reference to the admitted inaccuracy of the redemption table in the Schedule to "The Purchase of Land (Ireland) Act, 1885"; and whether, inasmuch as the matter cannot be dealt with in a Bill introduced by a private Member, the Government will introduce a short measure dealing with the subject?
§ MR. GOSCHENWithout going into the question of whether there is an "admitted inaccuracy" or not in the redemption table, I may say that a clause is being drafted, and a table is being prepared, to take the place of the former table.
