§ MR. BRODRICKMy hon. Friend will share my regret that no legislation in the direction of exempting officers and non-commissioned officers of the Volunteer Force from jury service is possible this Session. But, so far as the officers and non-commissioned officers of Volunteers are concerned, the Secretary of State thinks a very good case has been made out for exempting them from jury service, which we desire to see carried out by law.
