ANGUS SUTHERLANDI beg to ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to introduce legislation sanctioning a loan of £150,000 to the Government of British Columbia, for the purpose of carrying out the policy of Her Majesty's Government of emigration from the Highlands of Scotland; and whether, before doing so, he will lay upon the Table of the House a copy of the Correspondence between Her Majesty's Government and the Government of British Columbia, and a copy of the recent Act of the Legislature of that Colony bearing on the same subject?
