§ Resolved, That it is expedient to authorise the Treasury to guarantee, on the security of the Consolidated Fund of the United Kingdom, the payment of the principal, with interest at the rate of 3 per cent. per annum, of a loan of £600,000, to be raised by the Government of Mauritius for meeting the damage caused by the hurricane.
