THE COMPTROLLER OF THE HOUSEHOLD (Lord ARTHUR HILL)

reported to the House, That Her Majesty, having been attended with their Address of the 15th day of this instant February, was pleased to receive the same very graciously, and to give the following Answer:—

I thank you most sincerely for your loyal and dutiful Address, and especially for your expressions of sympathy with Me and My Family in the deep affliction which has visited Us. Your heartfelt participation in My personal sorrow has afforded me much consolation.
