The Lord Chancellor informs me he has not received any communication whatever upon the subject, and, so far as he is aware, there is no practical inconvenience from the present system.
§ MR. MCCARTANOn a previous occasion when I asked a question on the subject I was informed that the Lord Chancellor was considering it. Has any consideration been given to it?
§ MR. CARSONI can only say that, at an interview I had with the Lord Chancellor this morning, he gave me the information I have just given.
