HC Deb 07 April 1892 vol 3 cc828-9
MR. STOREY (Sunderland)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will grant a Return showing the Magistrates on 31st March, 1892, in the respective boroughs (having separate Commissions of the Peace) and counties, or divisions of counties, in England and Wales; and setting forth the name, description, trade and profession, and date of appointment of each Magistrate?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. MATTHEWS,) Birmingham, E.

The information asked for by the hon. Member is to be found in Parliamentary Papers No. 13 of 1886 and 356 of the Session of 1888. It appears to be too early to call for fresh editions of these voluminous Returns.
