HC Deb 05 April 1892 vol 3 cc684-5
MR. HUNTER (Aberdeen, N.)

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether, before the Committee stage of the Education and Local Taxation (Scotland) Bill, he will lay upon the Table of the House a Return showing how much each county or burgh in Scotland will receive of £100,000, if it is distributed according to valuation, and how much such county or burgh would receive if the money were distributed according to the population as ascertained by the Census of 1891?

* SIR C. J. PEARSON

There is no objection to giving the information asked for. If the hon. Member will be good enough to move for the Return, I shall use every endeavour to have it presented before the Committee stage.
