HC Deb 04 April 1892 vol 3 c585
MR. SUMMERS

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will inform the House what was the death-rate in the civil and military populations of Gibraltar during the years 1890 and 1891?

BARON H. DE WORMS

The Secretary of State has called for the information desired, and it will be communicated to the hon. Member as soon as it has been obtained. The death-rate for 1890 among the military population (including officers, men, women, and children) was 6.30 per 1,000. The particulars for 1891 have not yet been received.
