HC Deb 04 April 1892 vol 3 c556
MR. P. O'BRIEN

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether he is aware that a registered letter and a registered parcel, posted at Hucknall Torkard, Notts, in December last, and addressed to Mdlle. De Saint Belin, Roche Vilaine, Morbihan, France, have gone astray; and whether there is any expectation of recovering them; and, if not, will the owner be compensated?

THE POSTMASTER GENERAL (Sir J. FERGUSSON,) Manchester, N.E.

The case of the parcel is under inquiry. The correspondent in the case makes no mention of a registered letter.
