HC Deb 01 April 1892 vol 3 c486
MR. JORDAN

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what was the result of his conference with the Directors of the Waterford and Limerick Railway Company and of their Board meeting on the 10th instant on the question of the proposed agreement between the Government and them for the completing and working of the Claremorris and Collooney line; whether he has received any definite reply to his proposals; and to what length of time will he extend these negotiations before he adopts some other alternative by which the new line will as speedily as possible be made available for the public in that district?

MR. JACKSON

I am not in a position to make a definite statement on this question, but I hope in a day or two to be able to do so.
